MEET KRISTEN AND LEEANN

Dr. Kristen Mattson and Dr. LeeAnn Lindsey are educators with a combined 40-something years in education. They both found a passion for digital citizenship while teaching and pursuing their doctoral degrees.

​Kristen's research on digital citizenship curriculum revealed a pattern in existing materials that caused her to want to develop a different, more empowering approach to digital citizenship education. She has written two books and led countless presentations for educators, librarians, and administrators across the nation.
LeeAnn's research on digital citizenship in teacher preparation revealed online modules infused into social studies courses as an effective approach to training teachers. She has participated in the development of multiple sets of edtech standards, including the current ISTE Standards, and trained educators throughout the US. She brings her values-based approach to digital citizenship to all she does.
