2. Next, ISTE offers several support resources that will help you to better understand the portfolio and get ready to dive in. I created a screencast to help you identify and locate these resources in Brightspace.

3. Then, review the Criteria Guidelines Document. Make this document your best friend throughout this process!

PART 1: This independent work should take 60-90 minutes to begin with
1. Use the ISTE Cert Initial Thinking Document Template to take notes (informal - journal style or bullets is fine) about how you have, or could meet each criterion (#2-25). 2. Please refer to the Criteria Guidelines Document throughout this exercise
3. Color code your template per the following:

PART 2: This partner work will take as long as you would like to work together
- After you have completed the Initial Thinking Template (blue columns), schedule some time to talk with a critical friend from your cohort (or someone else who has gone through the process). Exchange ideas with one another about what you might do to address criteria that you coded red. What changes or new ideas might you put into practice?
- Make sure you take notes on your template (pink column)
